HHC - HHC content in mg - 10 mg

What is HHC?

HHC, or hexahydrocannabinol, is a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant, but only in trace amounts. It is therefore currently produced in the laboratory from CBD (cannabidiol) by the process of hydrogenation. During hydrogenation, some of the double bonds are replaced by hydrogen atoms, changing the chemical structure and stability of the molecule. This makes HHC more stable, more durable and less susceptible to heat and UV radiation. Read more about HHC production.

How does HHC work?

As for the effects of HHC, there are no studies yet available that examine the long-term effects on our bodies. We do know that HHC, like other cannabinoids, interacts with our endocannabinoid system, which regulates important bodily functions including sleep, mood, appetite, immune response and memory. Cannabinoids affect this system by binding to endocannabinoid receptors. In particular, HHC binds to CB1 receptors in the central nervous system.
