What is 10-OH-THC and what are its effects?

10-OH-THC (10-hydroxy-THC) is a relatively new cannabinoid derivative that is produced by chemically modifying THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) through hydroxylation and hydrogenation.

Initial study results suggest that it may have similar benefits to other cannabinoids, but with milder effects. 10-OH-THC has weaker psychoactive effects than THC. It primarily binds to CB1 receptors in the endocannabinoid system.

It is believed that 10-OH-THC could help reduce stress, anxiety, pain, and inflammation, or promote better sleep. However, there are currently not enough studies to confirm or refute this.
